Departure near Camping Parc d’Audinac les Bains in the Ariège Pyrenees

You can either accompany the herds or watch them pass along the route.

Saturday, June 6th (Tentative date, to be confirmed)

Sheep

• 6:30 AM – Departure from Lescure
• 9:00 AM – Crossing through Saint-Girons
• 10:00 AM – Moulis (coffee break and snack offered by the municipality)
• 12:00 PM – Arrival of the flock in Bordes-Uchentein
• Lunch available upon reservation at +33 6 85 98 81 35

Horses (Merens & Castillonnais breeds)

• 7:00 AM – Departure from Saint-Lizier (Ferme de la Basterne)
• 9:00 AM – Moulis (coffee break and snack offered by the municipality)
• 12:00 PM – Castillon-en-Couserans (welcome drink offered by the municipality)
• 1:00 PM – Bordes-Uchentein (refreshments offered by the municipality)
• 4:00 PM – Arrival of the herd in Arien-en-Bethmale

• 7:00 AM – Departure from Bordes-Uchentein (13 km – 5h30 walk)

Horses (Merens & Castillonnais breeds)

• 9:00 AM – Departure from Arien-en-Bethmale (3h30 walk)

Cows (Gascon breed)

• 9:30 AM – Departure from Bethmale Lake (9 km – 3h00 walk)

After the herds arrive
